Why it matters
A flue you can't see is a risk you can't judge

- A restricted flue can push combustion gases back into the room. Sweeping keeps the escape route clear.
- Chimney fires
- Tar and creosote deposits are fuel. Remove them and the most common cause of chimney fires goes with them.
