What we do

Four jobs, one visit

Chimney & flue sweeping

  • Rotary power sweep or traditional rods
  • Soot, tar and bird-nest removal
  • Smoke draw test on completion

Removes the creosote and soot build-up that fuels chimney fires and blocks the draught.

CCTV inspection survey

  • Full-length camera survey of the flue
  • Cracks, blockages and liner faults identified
  • Footage and stills shared with you

Shows exactly what's happening inside the flue instead of guessing from the hearth.

Insurance certification

  • Certificate of sweeping issued on the day
  • Fuel type, method and condition recorded
  • Digital copy emailed for your records

Most home insurers expect documented sweeping before they'll settle a flue-related claim.

Stove & appliance checks

  • Rope seals, baffles and grate condition
  • Cowl, pot and flashing visual check
  • Carbon monoxide alarm placement advice

A clean flue only performs if the appliance and terminal are sound too.

Why it matters

A flue you can't see is a risk you can't judge

Carbon monoxide
A restricted flue can push combustion gases back into the room. Sweeping keeps the escape route clear.
Chimney fires
Tar and creosote deposits are fuel. Remove them and the most common cause of chimney fires goes with them.
Insurance validity
Insurers commonly ask for evidence of regular sweeping when assessing a flue-related claim.
Efficiency
A clean, correctly drawing flue burns less fuel and stops smoke spilling into the room.

How often should it be swept?
